This is so so beautiful… and so is life… I am not sure there are any better words in the world that can be compared to this pure and sweet prayer of a seven year old.
What we have is what matters
An awesome Guajarati poet Krushna Dave wrote a beautiful poem yesterday : saying in bold and italic : forget what you dont have and cherish what you have to the fullest.
લિસ્ટ બનાવો (Make a list of what you have)
સીધું સાદું સરળ જીવન છે એને કાં ભાઈ ટ્વિસ્ટ બનાવો ?
નથી,નથી ની વાતો છોડો, છે,છે,છે નું લિસ્ટ બનાવો
કડવા ઘૂંટ ઉતાર્યા કરતાં એક વખત બસ થૂંકી નાંખો
અંધારાને તો અબઘડિએ ભરી ચલમમાં ફૂંકી નાંખો
દસે દિશે પ્રગટાવો સૂરજ, દશે દિશાને ઈસ્ટ બનાવો
નથી,નથી ની વાતો છોડો, છે,છે,છે નું લિસ્ટ બનાવો
લાચારી અંજળ ડ્હોળે ને એ પહેલા જ ઉલેચી નાંખો
માંડ આછર્યો છે આ વીરડો ખોબે ખોબે વ્હેચી નાંખો
છાતી કાઢી સુખ દુખ ઉજવો પળપળને ગર્વિષ્ઠ બનાવો

ક્ષણને સાચવતા જે શીખ્યા છેવટ એ તો સદી થયા છે
કાળમીંઢ પથ્થરને તોડી સતત વહ્યાં તે નદી થયા છે
હાર જીતને તડકે મૂકી પ્રયાસને સંનિષ્ઠ બનાવો
